This wasn’t my originally planned post.. I’m having internet issues due to some kind of damage so I’ll be brief and very bear. Both the article and format. Personal message from me:
So today I am taking a break from publishing in the series on what HR1 really means to the residents and citizens of this country. It's already been a long week, and I've been working tirelessly to pump these out as fast as I can, with supporting sources. Frankly, I’ve barely slept—only an hour or two less than normal, but still that’s a deficit from what little I’ve been managing to get prior.
With that being said, I’m not taking today off from the issue. I’m taking today off for the issue—so I can reach out and make this actionable. I’m reaching out today to my AG, my governor, my legislators, and I’ve already reached out to try and get a meeting with my senator, Patty Murray. I still haven’t heard back, and it’s been a few days. I will also be seeking meetings with other choice leaders across the country.
So, that’s what I’ll be spending my day(maybe a few)on—and I hope my beloved readers will be so kind to allow me that. I’m sure you’d also appreciate the break in the bad news. We’re approximately halfway through.
📢📢📢 I’d love for you to sound off in the comments:
Would you guys like me to do a “thus far” kind of construction of everything, or just keep chugging along?
Please let me know in the comments.
Additionally, I would love if people commented their feelings about all this—because I know this is frustrating, disheartening, heartbreaking, and worrisome. I want to hear what you guys have to say. My Substack is not about me, for the most part—it’s about my concerns, which are the same concerns so many of us share.
I’d love if you guys let me know what you think about all this. Tell me which parts bug you the most. Tell me which ones you think are the most egregious, and why—because at the end of this, there’s something else I’m concerned about. But first, I’ve got to get all the other pieces together. And that’s the series I’m presenting to you guys.
Yes, again today I am going to be emailing and trying to get an audience with as many politicians as I still have a little faith in. I’m going to be reaching out to Tim Walz, Pritcher, and a few others around the country. I’m going to be sending them my Substack.
So if you want to give me a hand—and you know your governor, legislator, or senator is a Democrat and concerned about this: If they’re on Substack—
tag them in.
TAG THEM ALL IN» Let’s all create a homing beacon for the politicians to see this—because nobody was talking about it. Nobody was believing the regime for who they are and addressing what they said they were going to do.
So I’m addressing it—so let’s help the politicians who are still fighting for us see why they should keep fighting, and exactly what they should be fighting.
My promise to you beloved readers: even though I’m taking a day or few to break: I’m not done calling this out.. I’m just trying to get some amplifiers locked in.
Thank you for honoring me with your (seemingly increasingly limited with all that impacts us) non-renewable resources that are your time and consideration, It humbles me..
~~Ginge.
I’m with you all the way there. I like the presentation format. I’m learning a whole lot. It’s somewhat overwhelming but not too hard to take in because of how you break it down.
I’m feeling incredibly anxious about how this is all unfolding before us. Your thoughts make it obvious that what I see and feel is accurate. “Don’t pat my arm and tell me I’m overthinking or overreacting to any of this.” 🤨
I’m here in WA State as well, and I’ve been checking in with my Reps as often as possible. Maybe it just feels better in a blue State to contact them and get an actual conversation in response.
Thanks for your work.
Take some time for your own peace and strength.
I see you💚🍀💜
